I Know A Man
On September 24th, God also started a work in our life that I had prayed for. I
can remember that morning as if it were yesterday. There was an anointing on our
Sunday School Teacher, Lynne, of which the likes I have never seen. Lynne knew
that there were needs in class that morning. I knew I had needs in my life. When
she asked us to come forward for prayer, I was the first one there.
At the beginning of this year, God sent a lady into my life by the name of
Sister Ruby from Oklahoma City. She told me that I needed to be praying to God
because the devil was going to attack my home. Little did I know how much the
devil had in for me and my family. Less than one week later my husband, Steve,
became ill. It was his heart. We took him to the hospital where they put him
under observation for several hours. After being released from the hospital,
Steve was sent home for bed rest. That night I e-mailed Sister Ruby and told her
what had happened. She told me he was having a heart attack and that I should
anoint Steve with oil and pray to God for his recovery. I did what she told me
to do. The next morning Steve said he thought he had a heart attack that night.
He knew nothing of what I had done the night before. God did take care of Steve
that night; praise God.
That was just the start of the devil's attacks. Since then Steve has found that
he has high blood pressure and of all things, hepatitis C. However, God is
taking care of him and I believe he can be healed.
Satan's attacks continued by attacking our marriage and Steve's job. Because of
this, Steve became weak in the Lord. He stopped reading his Bible and praying.
The devil thought he had him. But let me tell you that on September 24th,
Steve's birthday, he gave his heart back to the Lord during a wonderful Sunday
night service. My prayers were answered. You see, I know a Man that can heal
broken hearts, broken homes, and broken bodies. That man is Jesus. I love the
Lord because he has heard my cry.
