ANGELS ARE FOR REAL

Last weekend, May 10, 2002 we were on a trip to Orange Beach for my birthday. We got a late start so we wanted to make good time, driving about 70-75 mph on the interstate. Traffic was heavy through Birmingham, Montgomery and especially as we go closer to the coast. Anyway, we arrived at the condo about 4:30 pm and went upstairs to rest for a while before we went out to eat. When it became time to go Ray went down to start the car and turn on the air condition. He came right back upstairs and broke the news to us that we had a flat on the right front. Our car is front wheel drive. We go to remove the tire to put on the spare. Well, when we got the tire off, it was to our surprise and dismay, the cords had separated all the way around the tire and you could put your fist in the opening!! 

Now you tell me that my GOD in heaven did not have HIS angels camped around about us and had us in the Palm of His nail scarred hand! Normally at that rate of speed and going that far, we would have blown that tire and probably lost control of the car. But GOD came on the scene, protected us and let us get to the condo and park before it even went flat. There was NO WAY air could have stayed in that tire, or not blown out!  

Our God is so good and merciful and I just wanted to write this and give Him the praise and Glory and Honor for keeping us safe on that trip and letting us know in a true way, a very visible way, HE IS GOD and HE IS ON THE THRONE for us!!!
